Which Class should I take?
Although these descriptions will make it easier for you to decide which class is right for you, please do not hesitate to write or call me with your questions.

Yoga for Beginners
If you are new to yoga, then this is the class for you.  With individualized attention and support, you will learn how to set up the foundation of the postures, to breathe more deeply, and to open up the shoulders, neck and heart.

Level I
For experienced beginners or those wanting a basic class, you will be introduced to postures from the Level I syllabus as well as breathing techniques and yoga philosophy.  You will receive individual assistance and support as you work your way through the postures and alignment principles.

Level II
This class is not intended for beginners. Building from what you've learned in the Level I class or from other previous experience, more challenging poses from the Level II syllabus will be introduced including backbends, arm balances and inversions.

My Intention
It is my intention to inspire at least one student in each yoga class to feel a deeper connection to the ecstatic unfolding of his or her heart.  Arrive wherever you are physically, emotionally and spiritually and know that you are already perfect just as you are, and at the same time ever evolving and expanding, like the full moon….coming in to your fullness again and again. 

Weather Cancellation Procedure

Last winter it seemed that every Wednesday in February and March was a snow storm!

To help you decide whether or not to come to class (and to save me from waking you up in the wee morning hours) I will follow the Shelburne Community School System in the event of Snow cancellations.  If in doubt, please check this website, I will post a notice by 7:00 am about my decision to cancel class or not.
